Kim Hubball is a freelance graphic designer and artist from Greater Manchester. Heavily inspired by her background in graphics, Kim loves to explore shape, colour and texture and is excited by the emotional response that can be achieved with the abstract.
Her varied creative practice involves design, branding, printmaking, illustration and surface pattern design.
Her passion is for the screenprinting process, which she approaches experimentally to produce beautiful, abstract, one-of-a-kind prints. In 2016 one of her prints was chosen to be part of the Jealous Needs You group exhibition which culminated with a 6 week show at the Saatchi Gallery, London.
More recently, Kim had her design chosen for the Bee In The City art trail which descended on the city of Manchester in July 2018. Her hand-painted bee was auctioned following the trail, raising an amazing £23000 for charity.
Kim’s main focus at the moment is to create works that cross the boundaries between art and graphic design.
